5:00 Welcome and Introductions with Mitch Kuhl, DO

Mitchell D. Kuhl, D.O.

Dr. Kuhl has served as president of St. Cloud Orthopedics since 2014. In his 13 years with our practice, he has specialized in fracture care and continues to be an independent consultant for Stryker.

5:05 Medical Optimization for Total Joint Replacement with Andy Mulder, MD

Dr. Mulder will explain how to evaluate the need for total joint replacement surgeries and cover the many ways we can medically optimize the outcome for patients. He has been with our group for 7 years, and focuses on hip and knee care, utilizing minimally-invasive muscle-sparing techniques, computer navigation, and robotic assistance when appropriate.

Dr. Holien will cover the various treatments and evaluations that can be done when patients face chronic hip pain. He has been with our group for 18 years, and currently specializes in joint replacements as well as care for hips, knees, and shoulders.

Stephen A. Mariash, D.P.M.

Dr. Mariash will give an overview of the evaluation and treatment of acute ankle injuries. He has been with our practice for 22 years, providing complete care for feet and ankles, as well as performing joint replacements.

7:00 Back Pain in the Adolescent Athlete: Catch a Pars Fracture! with Ashley Botterill, MD

Kim S. Schaap, M.D.

Dr. Botterill will review the various non-operative options for young athletes with low back pain. She has been with our practice since early 2019, and has many years of experience in spine care and sports medicine, helping patients manage osteoporosis and other spine-related conditions without the use of surgery.

7:30 Pediatric Athlete Overuse Injuries in a Pandemic with Paul Meirick, MD

Matthew R. Hwang, M.D.

Dr. Meirick will explore the diagnosis and management of overuse injuries in pediatric athletes—specifically in a Pandemic. He has been with our practice since late 2019, and focuses on non-operative care for acute sports or activity-related injuries (sprains, strains, and fractures) as well as chronic medical conditions (joint pain and arthritis).

8:00Knee Pain in Young Athletes with Kristi Hultman, MD

Chad A. Holien, M.D.

Dr. Hultman will cover the various treatments and evaluations that can be done when young athletes experience knee pain. She has been with us since late 2019, and has extensive experience in ACL tears, multi-ligament knee injuries, meniscal pathology, cartilage restoration, patellofemoral instability, and general orthopedic injuries.
