Evening Event Schedule

5:00: Welcome and Introductions with Steve Mariash, DPM

Dr. Mariash has practiced in St. St. Cloud since 1993. In his 23 years with our practice, he has specialized in medicine and surgery of the foot and ankle. He is a member of the board of directors of the International Foot and Ankle Foundation.

5:05: Outpatient Total Joint Surgery with Joseph Nessler, MD

Dr. Nessler will give an overview of the indications and advantages of outpatient total joint replacement. He has been with our group for 30 years and has a specialty practice in hip and knee joint replacement, as well as, revision total joint replacement. He is a consultant for Stryker Orthopedics.

5:35 – 6:00: “Don’t Miss” Physical Exam & Ultrasound Findings with Paul Meirick, MD

Dr. Meirick will cover six orthopedic exam and ultrasound findings that are imperative not to be overlooked. He has been with our practice since 2019 and focuses on non-operative care for acute sports or activity-related injuries (sprains, strains, and fractures), as well as, chronic medical conditions (joint pain and arthritis).

6:05: Achilles Tendon Injuries with Kevin McCann, DPM

Dr. McCann will explain the evaluation and treatment of Achilles tendon injuries. He has been with our group for 9 years and specializes in medicine and surgery of the foot and ankle.

6:35: Q & A and Dinner Break

7:00: Sacroiliitis: Evaluation and Treatment with Trevor McIver, MD

Dr. McIver will review the evaluation and treatment of sacroiliitis. He joined our Spine Center staff in 2015 and has completed sponsored and non-sponsored research on various spine-related orthopedic treatment techniques.

7:30: Distal Radius Fractures with Mitch Kuhl, DO

Dr. Kuhl will explore the diagnosis and treatment of fractures of the distal radius. He has served as president of St. Cloud Orthopedics since 2014. In his 14 years with our practice, he has specialized in trauma and fracture care, and continues to be an independent consultant for Stryker Orthopedics.

8:00: Peripheral Nerve Compression with Madelyn Lauer, MD

Dr. Lauer will cover the background, as well as, options for early workup and treatment of peripheral nerve compression. She completed her orthopedic hand fellowship in June, 2021 at the University of Iowa.

8:50: Closing Remarks from Kristi Hultman, MD

Dr. Hultman has been with our group since 2019, and has extensive experience in ACL tears, multi-ligament knee injuries, meniscal pathology, cartilage restoration, patellofemoral instability, and general orthopedic injuries.
