Dr. Hiesterman remains on the front edge of new technological advancements in fracture management, orthopedic surgery, and non-operative orthopedics. This includes cutting edge implants, computer-navigated surgery, robotic-assisted joint replacements, and minimally-invasive surgical techniques. Your surgery will be performed with the highest accuracy, in the least invasive manner possible. For you, this means a faster recovery with better outcomes.

Because not all injuries are best treated with surgery, Dr. Hiesterman also offers the most advanced non-operative treatments available including regenerative medicine. Regenerative medicine is the scientific field that focuses on new approaches of replacing, engineering or regenerating human cells, tissues, or organs to restore or establish normal function. This may be particularly beneficial for patients coping with arthritis, but also used in sports injuries, tendon strains, sprained or torn ligaments, muscle injuries, and more. Regenerative cell therapy provides patients who are looking to avoid surgery, with another option (that is non-invasive and safe) that has the potential to significantly improve their pain, function, and quality of life.

Dr. Hiesterman has a holistic approach and philosophy of care that is individualized to each patient’s needs, with a treatment plan created for your unique injury and situation. He and his assistant strive to provide their patients with the highest quality of operative and non-operative orthopedic care available. Dr. Hiesterman brings his extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal care, orthopedic trauma care, and regenerative medicine to St. Cloud Orthopedics and is accepting new patients by appointment.
