Andrew Mulder

Dr. Mulder received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his residency at the Detroit Medical Center/Providence Hospital Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Mulder also completed a fellowship in hip and knee replacements at the Cleveland Clinic.

“My wife and I grew up in Southern Minnesota and we have always wanted to find a nice mid-sized city in which to raise our children and become active members of the community,” said Dr. Mulder. “We’re thrilled to be back in Minnesota after having lived away from family for the last five years. St. Cloud Orthopedics is a family-friendly practice that aligns well with my values and professional goals. Both the practice and community have been very welcoming to us.”

Dr. Mulder’s area of interest is revision and primary hip and knee replacement. “My goal is to develop a robust hip and knee replacement practice in which the needs of the patient come first and results are consistently excellent,” said Dr. Mulder. “Orthopedic surgery offers a unique way to help patients. I enjoy the hands-on nature of orthopedics and the concrete, tangible treatments, particularly of hip and knee arthritis.” He is well trained to address difficult issues regarding hip and knee replacements and looks forward to helping patients make informed decisions about treatment options of hip and knee arthritis. “I treat my patients like I expect my family to be treated,” said Dr. Mulder.

Dr. Mulder brings his extensive knowledge of hip and knee replacement to St. Cloud Orthopedics and is now accepting appointments. When not working, Dr. Mulder enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also loves a game of pick-up basketball, going for a run, and tinkering around in the yard.
